At Value Place, you'll
find a clean, secure place to stay along with some of the lowest rates in
extended stay hotels. And the rewards don't stop there. We are offering you the
chance to win one of four $1,000 prizes along with a one-week stay at the Value Place of your
choice.
The Value
Place 1,000 Dollar Week-Stay Giveaway launched in December, and we recently
selected (via a random drawing) our first winner from the entries we received
that month!
Congratulations
to Linda Williams of Pineville,
MO, for winning $1,000 and a week-stay at a Value Place of her choice. Linda and her family plan to vacation later
this year in Colorado Springs,
and we look forward to having her as our guest at the local Value Place.
Remember,
the Value Place 1,000 Dollar Week-Stay Giveaway continues through March, and
there are winners every month! We just
held the prize drawing for the January winner, and we're waiting to hear back
from the individual whose name we drew. As soon as we get confirmation, we'll announce
our second winner on the Basecamp Blog.
Stay tuned
and good luck!

It is a shame that my fiancée could not make the reservations himself. ValuePlace is not updated enough to accommodate/accept credit card reservations from the outlying American Virgin Islands. Great value for an exceedingly greater hassle. I hope the room is clean and nice, and the extra sets of clean sheets and towels I requested when I made the reservations are present as we enter the room.
Posted by: Vanessa A. Phillips on March 10, 2008 at 7:02 AMThank you for your interest in Value Place! We are glad that you have decided to take advantage of our low cost, clean, safe and simple extended stay lodging. Thank you for your comments regarding our reservation system we value suggestions from our consumers and guests.
Posted by: Shay StegmaierI am very impressed with what I see on your site. Has the ValuePlace in Holland, Michigan opened yet? Have you any plans on entering the Canadian market? Your chain is perfect for snowbirds like my husband and me who enjoy extended vacations away from the cold winters up here. One final note: will the contest being offered now eventually be opened to Canadians? I went and filled in the entry form, only to discover that there was no place to enter Canada...lol. Guess I should learn to read rules first.

Posted by: Shay StegmaierHi, Shay:
Posted by: C Santiago on March 31, 2008 at 1:57 PMBy chance is that projected date you referenced above for the Holland, MI facility opening firmly fixed? Might it change? I'm trying to make arrangements around this opening date and am wondering where I can go to get the official start date info if indeed it does change. (Website only states "April opening")
Hi Chris, we prefer to use the term projected because there are a number of milestones to complete before we open one of our properties. We want to ensure that all our properties will offer the lowest cost, cleanest, safest, and simpliest hotel option for our guests! We are projecting April 11th and we hope that you will be our guest at one of our properties soon. We also have an open property in Kalamazoo, MI.
Posted by: Shay StegmaierCan you please identify if the new Value Place in Austin, TX (Breaker Lane) has opened yet? If not, what's the projected opening date? I utilize Value Place whenever I can while traveling and have received conflicting information from Value Place employees as to the status of the properties around Austin. Thanks for your help!
Posted by: Randy Anderson on April 1, 2008 at 12:30 PMThanks for your information, Shay! I appreciate you taking the time to answer everyone's blog post. This clearly shows that you must have great customer service; it's truly appreciated. I look forward to staying at a Value Place.
Regarding that Holland, MI opening. Is there a way, a number or email listing I can be placed on that will announce the official opening of this property? I will be staying in this city for a class, and can't afford to stay at a hotel for the whole duration. Even the low-end hotels are expensive daily! As you know, every day counts. Thank you.

I have seen alot of Intown Suites in the area but but have yet to find a Value place. Also, can you explain what I get for the extra money. Intown suites seems to offer the same thing as you all do but are a little cheaper.
